My sweetie and I were having an 80's video fest with the iPhone late into last night, and searched in vain for Journey's "Separate Ways" on YouTube.
He had not seen its spare, San Francisco warehouse setting, the sparer air-instrument-playing, and the strange camera-following, well, almost camera-stalking, the over-the-top emoting, and the pouty strutting 80's babe in white heels.
We supposed Journey's record company polices YouTube pretty thoroughly, because we couldn't find it on there, but we did find a whole lot of adaptations. These are quite affectionate send-ups of the video. Quite inexpensively done, too, I would imagine, as I reckon the original video cost very little as well.
I did find the original video on Google Video this morning.
